About ZEB Summit
About the Summit
Each year at the RDS Dublin, the Summit reunites architects, engineers, developers, policymakers, local authorities, housing bodies, contractors, researchers and manufacturers to accelerate the shift to high performance, climate resilient buildings.
With a strong conference programme, global speakers, practical case studies, site visits, awards and a dedicated exhibition of leading technologies, ZEB Summit continues to grow as a must attend event for everyone shaping the future of the built environment.
Mission & Values
The ZEB Summit drives the transition to zero-emission buildings through innovation, collaboration, and industry action. We promote sustainable solutions that transform the built environment.
Through education, leadership, and community engagement, we advance low-carbon practices and support a resilient, sustainable future delivering real-world change.
Why ZEB Matters Now
Sector Shift
Ireland is moving from Nearly Zero Energy Buildings to fully Zero Emission Buildings, and the next few years will reshape the way buildings are designed, delivered and proven. With 2028 and 2030 requirements coming into focus, and a longer-term goal of climate neutrality by 2050, expectations are rising fast across the entire sector.
New Standards
The built environment is one of the largest sources of greenhouse gas emissions. Climate targets will not be met without changing how we build and how we retrofit. Yet the industry is under strain, with performance gaps, skills shortages and increasing pressure to deliver at scale.
Industry Preparedness
Embodied carbon, procurement decisions and delivery methods are now central to what “good” looks like. Modern methods of construction, science based verification and retrofit at scale are becoming the new standard.
The ZEB Summit exists to help the industry prepare for the shift toward a zero-emission built environment.
